Grammy-nominated Irish-Amercian group Cherish The Ladies are returning to Westport on Friday, September 21, with their new live trad show Heart of the Home. During their 30-year-plus career, Cherish The Ladies have performed thousands of concerts and have collaborated with such notable musicians as The Clancy Brothers, The Chieftains, Vince Gill, Nanci Griffith, Pete Seeger, Don Henley, Arlo Guthrie and Maura O’Connell. They are in constant demand as their reputation among and admiration from fans and critics alike continues to grow.

A riveting live show, it includes a spectacular blend of virtuoso instrumental talents, beautiful vocals, captivating arrangements and stunning step dancing guaranteed to have everyone singing, clapping and tapping their feet as they are regaled with heart-warming and hilarious stories from leader and front woman Joanie Madden, an all-Ireland flute and whistle champion. The irrepressible Madden was named one of the Top 25 Most Influential Irish Americans of the past quarter century by The Irish Voice Newspaper.
