Jairo Zavala, aka Depedro, is a celebrated recording artist in Spain and doubles as a sideman for pop composer Andrew Bird as well as the Tucson Tex-Mex flavored sound of Calexico. These disparate influences, as well as the other musicians he met on the road, have inspired Nubes de Papel, his sophomore recording of acoustic pop. Today’s Top Tune is “Levanta.”
