A note from Dave Holland

Hello, everyone.

It’s been a very busy summer, and I hope some of you were able to see me on tour in Europe with the flamenco guitar master Pepe Habichuela. This was a project several years in the making and I am happy to say the recorded result of our collaboration, Hands, is now available on my website for purchase world-wide.

Pepe introduced me to a new musical world and learning the Flamenco tradition from such a master has been a wonderful experience. Until the official release of the album in the US and Canada, we’re offering the CDs of both Hands and my octet release, Pathways, for only $20 USD. You will be emailed an immediate download of both albums in your choice of lossless formats upon purchase. As always, you can stream the entire album for free on the homepage of my website. If you live outside of North America, you can take part in this sale as well.

In the LoJac section we have added octet scores and parts from Pathways and some new bass solo transcriptions for those of you interested in playing some of the music you have been listening to. We’ll be adding more music soon.

In October and November I will be touring in Europe with my quintet. On the Events page we will be adding a complete list of dates and venues for the tour as well as listings of other things that I’ll be doing.

This has been a great year so far with the independent release of Pathways, the launch of the new website, and now Hands. I really appreciate the support you’ve given me and my music over the years. Thank you.

All the best,
Dave
