Ojos De Brujo!!!

Thursday November 11, 2004

In the spring of 2004 Barcelon’s own Ojos De Brujo joined the IMN domestic roster.

Awarded the Best European World Music Artist title by the BBC, and with a gold record in their native Spain, Ojos de Brujo is leaving their mark all over the globe. By taking all of the romantic and percussive elements of traditional Flamenco music and symbiotically melding it with a free mix of more contemporary musical styles including hip-hop, folk, latin, funk and rock, the Barcelona band has shaken up the world music scene with their own genre-hybrid. Ojos de Brujo don’t just make great music, they also generate all manner of other cultural artifacts, all in the cause of forward thinking and for those who understand their lyrics, a respect for the Planet Earth and the importance of popular wisdom.
