from Kathy Mattea’s newsletter
Yes, you heard right: there’s new music from Kathy available for download at the Kathy Mattea online store – a little something to help tide you over until the next release (there are rumors, that’s all I’m sayin’…). Kathy’s songwriter husband Jon Vezner was inspired to write “Tell Me What You Ache For” when he came across “The Invitation”, a poem by Oriah Mountain Dreamer from a book of the same name. Kathy sang it one evening at a retreat earlier this year, and the overwhelming response led her to make this simple recording for those who might like to have a copy.
