On Wednesday, May 19, Kathy Mattea joined Emmylou Harris, Dave Matthews, Alison Kraus, Patty Griffin, Patty Loveless and a stellar cast at the legendary Ryman Auditorium for the benefit concert supporting “Music Saves Mountains”, sponsored by the Natural Resources Defense Council and the Gibson Foundation, raising money and awareness in the fight against mountaintop removal strip mining used in the Appalachian coal fields.
