(From Cheltenham Festivals)

In a unique collaboration, Spanish flamenco guitar maestro Pepe Habichuela joins jazz bassist Dave Holland to perform the passionate melodies and enchanting folk songs of traditional Andalusian flamenco, combined with a strong hint of jazz swing. In a career spanning over 40 years, Dave has established himself as the world’s finest jazz bassist, working with Miles Davis, Wayne Shorter and Chick Corea along the way. Also featuring Josemi Carmona on guitar.

Jazz Festival Artistic Director, Tony Dudley-Evans, caught up with jazz legend Dave Holland to talk about his new collaboration with flamenco maestro Pepe Habichuela.
