On January 26, 2010, Nonesuch Records is releasing the film’s original soundtrack composed by Youssou N’Dour, with Martin Davich and Oscar® winner James Newton Howard. It includes the film’s beautiful original song, I Bring What I Love that is eligible for this years Oscar for Best Original Song. Oscar nominations are announced on February 2, 2010.
“Youssou N’Dour: I Bring What I Love” was also named a finalist for the prestigious International Documentary Association’s 2009 Pare Lorentz Award.
