LOS ANGELES, CA – Street Drum Corps was part of a special performance with 30 Seconds To Mars on thursday night’s episode of The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien. Both bands joined forces on 30 Seconds To Mars’ hit song “Kings & Queens.” Street Drum Corps, who is Bobby Alt, Adam Alt and Frank Zummo, is currently prepping to release their major label debut double album in Spring 2010. They have been called “Soo good” by the New York Post and declared “A rapturous band of misfit drummers” by the Los Angeles Weekly.

One disc produced by the band and Jamie Rise is all-drumming and syncopated rhythms featuring guest drumming greats Tommy Lee (Motley Crue), Adrian Young (No Doubt), Matt Sorum (Velvet Revolver),Brandon Saller (Atreyu) and Shannon Leto (30 Seconds To Mars). The other disc, produced by the band and Howard Benson (My Chemical Romance, Papa Roach), is of fully realized rock/pop/punk songs influenced by Adam and the Ants and Siouxsie and the Banshees, with lyrics and orchestration and Bobby Alt on vocals. Street Drum Corps and 30 Seconds To Mars have been longtime friends and collaborators. Indeed Bobby Alt and Adam have cameos in the “Kings & Queens” video, and Shannon Leto guests on Street Drum Corps’ forthcoming album.
