Catch Colors of Jazz when host Bonnie welcomes Clarinetis​t-Saxophon​ist Anat Cohen to celebrate the September 25th release of her new album Claroscur​o. Named Jazz Journalist Association’s 2012 Multi-Reeds Player and Clarinetist of the Year, the Anzic Recording Artist has the distinction of being honored with multiple JJA JAZZ AWARDS for six years running. On Claroscur​o, Ms. Cohen is leading the band as front woman, playing the clarinet and bass clarinet as well as tenor and soprano saxophones. Get ready to enjoy the musical tones of “light and shade” with the sounds of “America, France, Brazil and South Africa played by kindred spirits from Israel, America, Brazil and Cuba”. Tune in on Saturday at 4pm for a show that’s sure to brighten your day.
