Esperanza Nominated for Up and Coming Artist of the Year

Esperanza Spalding has been nominated for Up and Comings Artist of the Year by the Jazz Journalist Association. Professional members of the JJA are currently voting on nominees in 42 categories celebrating excellence in jazz music, production, presentation and digital, print, broadcast and photographic journalism. The representative honorees – “winners” — will be announced at a JJA event on Tuesday, June 16th, from 3 to 6 PM at The Jazz Standard in New York City.
