‘Playing For Change’ Tackles U.S. In February, March

Made up of musicians from around the world, The “Playing For Change” band launches its winter tour next month in Minnesota.

Dedicated to empowering musicians via the creation of music and art schools in developing communities, the Playing For Change band includes artists from North America, Europe and Africa.

For the upcoming tour the U.S.A. is represented by Grandpa Elliott on vocals and harmonica, drummer Peter Bunetta, bassist Reggie McBride, and lead guitarist Renard Poche. African musicians include Congo’s Mermans Mosengo on vocals/guitar/percussion and vocalist/guitarist Jason Tamba, Ghana percussionist Mohammed Alidu, South African vocalist Titi Tsira and Zimbabwe guitar master Louis Mhlanga. Vocalist Clarence Milton Bekker hails from The Netherlands.
