From The West Virginia Music Hall of Fame
IMN congratulates Grammy Award winning artist Kathy Mattea, who was recently inducted into the West Virginia Music Hall of Fame! In a ceremony hosted by Huntington native Peter “Hollywood Squares” Marshall and filmmaker Morgan “Supersize Me” Spurlock, this year’s inductees included legendary country singer Connie Smith, longtime Jimi Hendrix bassist Billy Cox, drummer extraordinaire Butch Miles, Jack Rollins (writer of “Frosty the Snowman,” “Peter Cottontail” and “Smokey the Bear”), blues singer Diamond Teeth Mary and Red Clay Ramblers’ co-founder Tommy Thompson.
