From WNYC
SOUNDCHECK
In Studio: James Farm
The band James Farm might be a relatively new name on the jazz scene, but its members – saxophonist Joshua Redman, pianist Aaron Parks, bassist Matt Penman and drummer Eric Harland – certainly will make a lot of ears perk up. The band’s self-titled debut album is a collection of original tunes written by the quartet, which they’ll play for us live in the studio.
Listen to a recording of the show below or on WNYC’s site here.
