Playing for Change Travels the Globe

The Playing for Change project has grown to formidable proportions with the addition of some of the world’s finest musicians. On its latest production, PFC2: Songs Around The World, the global hopping project celebrates memorable songs by PFC2: Songs Around The World“>Bob Marley, The Rolling Stones, Stevie Wonder, John Lennon, Otis Redding and originals by Baaba Maal and several of the participating musicians.
Rock, soul, reggae and vallenato classics are transformed into fascinating worldbeat pieces. The cast is a dream team of international musicians and singers. Artists include Baaba Maal, Keb Mo, Sandra de Sá, Taj Mahal, Tinariwen, Colombian star Carlos Vives, kora master Mamadou Diabate, Roger Ridley, Grandpa Elliot, Stephen Marley, Mermans Kenkosenki, and Char.
The two disc set comes with two variations of the songs, a music CD and a DVD with video versions of the pieces.
PFC2, Songs Around the World is a spectacular gathering of global artists united for a worthy cause.
